Your camera. Your business.

It stays on your device.

Unstuck is a desktop focus and wellness app made by Marji Ventures. It counts exercise reps and offers optional posture reminders using your camera. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, or telemetry.

Your camera

Camera frames are processed in memory on your computer using a bundled pose model. The app does not record, save, or upload video or photos. Workout mode stops its camera when you stop or complete a set. Optional posture mode samples at 2 frames per second while enabled, including when the window is hidden. Camera status appears in the tray, and you can disable posture mode or quit at any time.

What stays locally

  • Your chosen exercises, rep targets, lock schedule, and blocked app and website lists.
  • Your gate state, rep counts, and daily posture summary, including tracked good/bad posture time and nudge counts.
  • Optional posture preferences and calibration measurements derived from landmarks, not camera images.
  • Your camera choice (device ID and label), saved in the local webview profile.

Settings shows the app's local configuration directory. When upgrading from Push-up Gate, Unstuck copies the old settings directory on first launch if the new one does not exist. It leaves the original directory intact.

Blocking and permissions

App blocking checks local running processes and force-quits your selected apps while locked. Website blocking edits a marked section of the system hosts file and needs administrator permission. Unstuck preserves an initial hosts backup locally. Unlocking or a normal tray Quit removes the managed block; an abnormal shutdown can require cleanup.

Local status endpoint

The app exposes a read-only status endpoint on 127.0.0.1:17843 for future local integrations. Other local programs, and web pages allowed to reach loopback, can read gate state, rep counts, and the selected website list. It accepts no unlock or settings changes and returns no camera data. This is local communication; the app does not send that data to a server.

Your controls and removal

Change your lists and preferences in Settings, use emergency unlock when needed, and use Quit in the tray to stop the app. After quitting, deleting its configuration and webview data directories removes its saved data. If you upgraded, the separate legacy directory remains until you remove it. Uninstalling alone may leave these local directories behind.
